Thorntons wanted to offer their internet customers the opportunity to send a personalised greeting card with each order they place.

Irongate created a solution, which utilises our digital print technology and fulfillment capabilities. Now, when placing an order online, the customer chooses a greeting card design and then creates their very own personal message for the card.

On a daily basis, Irongate’s intelligent software automatically retrieves this data, matches the design of card to the message created and then sends this data directly to our iGen3 press for colour printing.

Our fulfillment team then add the cards to envelopes, add the label and dispatch. We fulfill up to 1,000 cards per day and the whole production cycle is completed within 2 hours!
